Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

By using Pickbox (pickbox.dev) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Pickbox is

Pickbox is a free collection of browser-based developer tools and a technical blog. The tools — JSON Formatter, JSON Diff, JWT Decoder, Image Compressor, Base64 Encoder/Decoder, UUID Generator, Regex Tester, and Unix Timestamp Converter — run entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your device when using them.

Use of the tools

You're free to use the tools for personal or commercial work. You may not:

  • Use the site to distribute malware or harmful content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
  • Misrepresent the origin of any output produced by the tools

The tools are provided as-is. While we aim for accuracy, don't rely on Pickbox output for critical systems without independent verification.

Blog content

Articles on Pickbox reflect the author's views and experience at the time of writing. They are not legal, financial, or professional advice. Technology moves fast — always verify anything time-sensitive against official documentation.

Affiliate links

Some blog posts contain affiliate links marked where practical. If you click one and make a purchase, Pickbox may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships don't influence editorial content.

Intellectual property

Blog posts and tool interfaces are © Pickbox. You're welcome to quote or reference content with attribution. Don't republish articles in full without permission.

Third-party services

Pickbox loads fonts from Google Fonts and, where you've given consent, ads via Google AdSense. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of liability

Pickbox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Changes

These terms may be updated occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects when they last changed. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
